What are LaFrance’s services?
We’re a “soup to nuts” company that provides design, engineering, and mass production for custom name plates, decorative trim, and functional components.
What do I need to provide to get started on a project?
You can send us artwork files, part drawings, or even hand sketches to get the conversation started. We can work with all file types. Starting from scratch? No problem! Our in-house design team can work with you to bring your vision to life.
Does LaFrance have cost-effective product lines?
We have 12 different base material solutions with endless aesthetic possibilities which allows us the flexibility to stay within your budget while achieving your design goals. See our full list of materials here.
Can LaFrance support small volume projects or do you only handle large volume jobs?
While we prefer to set up larger production runs, we are equipped to support smaller volume projects like special edition product releases, collaboration models, serialized componentry, and more. We know not every job is going to be large production volume, and that’s OK. Our number one result is meeting our accounts’ and customers’ needs.
Where is LaFrance located?
Our corporate headquarters are in Concordville, Pennsylvania, USA. We have manufacturing facilities in Sarasota, Florida and Shenzhen, China.
What is a typical timeline for production?
Generally speaking it’s about 3-4 weeks for tooling followed by a production lead time of 4 weeks. Those estimates may vary depending on material(s) chosen and your needs.
What aesthetic options are available?
This is a tough one to answer simply, but we’ll do our best. Achievable in varying processes across many product lines, we offer metallic, holographic, matte, glossy, and transparent colors, natural, brushed, and polished finishes, custom textures, antiqued, shimmer, iridescent, and mother of pearl finishes, and many more!

We ship to over 50 countries located around the world.
