Let’s talk Mission Statements! According to Google, a mission statement is defined as a concise explanation of the organization's reason for existence. It describes the organization's purpose and its overall intention. A company’s mission statement supports the vision and serves to communicate purpose and direction to employees, customers, vendors, and other stakeholders. That all sounds great, right? So why do some people shudder when they hear “we need to develop a mission statement?” Some say it’s a waste of time putting together “flowery mumbo-jumbo.” Others find that by establishing a clear mission statement, they can use it to serve as the company’s compass.  

We don’t necessarily have a mission statement. At LaFrance, we categorize in terms of results. Simply put, what do we want? We’re always striving to support a very specific long-term result which is to “live long and prosper.” Before every critical decision gets made, our management team reviews whether it will help or hinder us in meeting our “live long and prosper” result. This has been our compass since 1946. We often talk of our shared vision for the future and if we use our championship teamwork, not only will we achieve our results, but we might also exceed them.

We think these values help set us apart from other on-product branding manufacturers. We strive to not only meet your branding results but exceed them. When we do this, we know we’ve helped you communicate your brand story, protect your brand image, and keep your brand message consistent. We’d be nowhere without our accounts and customers, and we take our roles in your brand visibility very seriously. If we’re not confident we can support a project and don’t have the proper amount of time to develop something, we may decide not to bid for it. We’d rather not get the business than put you and your brand at risk if we’re not able to deliver within the required timeframe. You can trust LaFrance to always do the right thing when it comes to what is best for you and the results you want. Our competitors might say we’re crazy. However, we’ve been an industry leader in on-product branding, decorative trim, and functional components for 75 years. Our success is because we've continuously put the needs of our accounts and customers ahead of our own.
